today, at the 13th meeting of the Provincial People’s Council (HĐND) of Dong Thap Province, Ms. Doan Duy Thuy Ngan, Head of the Culture-Society Board, chaired the review of the draft resolutions. Mr. Keu The Lam, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of HĐND, and leaders of relevant departments and local authorities attended the meeting.

Justification for the draft resolution
The draft resolution regulating the policy on reducing land rental fees for projects in the education and training field on the district of Dong Thap, which is consistent with the decision of the Prime Minister, was reviewed and agreed upon by the board members.
Discussion and supplementation
The Board Cultural-Society Council and the submitting agency also reviewed and supplemented some phrases to ensure compliance with regulations.
The draft resolution on the mechanism to support the implementation of housing projects in Dong Thap Province
The Province of Dong Thap is implementing the project "Investment in building at least 1 million affordable housing units for low-income residents and industrial workers, phase 2021-2023" of the Prime Minister on the location of Dong Thap; in which, about 16 housing projects will be invited to invest in and build.
Review and agreement
The Board Cultural-Society Council agreed to the draft resolution, which includes the policy mechanism:
- The State will support investors with 50% of the investment cost of building infrastructure within the project scope, including transportation systems, public lighting, water supply and drainage, and handling waste water, but not exceeding VND 5 billion per project, which will reduce the price of affordable housing by around 2.3%.
- Supporting 100% of the fees and charges for implementing administrative procedures related to the housing project. This support will help reduce the price of affordable housing, reflecting the care and support of the Government for the investors of affordable housing projects.
